I walked up this hill by my house 10 years ago. I found out my parents were getting divorced .I was going through it enough as it was. I don’t think I really understood depression yet. Guitar on my back. I played up here all morning and just tried to get it all out. It was years later that scared kid got a little stronger. Enough to form a dream of writing words that would help others get it out. Feel it out. Running out of time is the most proud I’ve ever been of that scared little kid with his guitar on his back. I’m so grateful for everyone who helped me with this song and video. @lexihensler for shining a light on me and being a light. @matt.vandaele @aaron2aj for taking time to see my vision for this and see it through.
